Our Sofa & Chair Cleaning Service
Our standard service includes a telephone assessment/quotation, on site audit, vacuuming, hand clean with specialist chemicals & mechanical brushes/bonnets, spot & stain removal and heated steam clean of all areas of the chair or sofa (not just the visible parts) including seat cushions, back rest cushions, chair/Sofa base, arms, sides and back (scatter cushions priced separately). Fabric protection treatments are available to pre-book and apply after your fabric has been cleaned.

- Step 1: Pre-inspection – We will inspect the furniture, noting the upholstery fabric type, soiling conditions, fabric wear risk, any manufacturers markings inside cushions etc. We will also advise you of any possible permanent staining.
- Step 2 Pre-vacuum – We vacuum your furniture prior to any upholstery cleaning takes place.
- Step 3 Floor Protection – Your floors will be protected with an absorbent material to ensure we do not drip or over spray as we clean the upholstery
- Step 4 Pre-Treatment – Spots, stains & dark traffic areas are pre-treated with the right chemical and problem solvers
- Step 5: Pre-Spray - The fabric is “pre-sprayed” with special upholstery cleaning compounds specially designed for your particular fabric & soil condition. This loosens up the soil to make rinsing more effective.
- Step 6 Pre-Agitate – A pre-spray will be worked into the upholstery fabric with a horsehair brush, specially designed for this use, to evenly distribute the upholstery cleaning solution.
- Step 7 Rinse & Extract – Once the soil has been loosened, we will thoroughly flush the fabric with our specially designed upholstery extraction tools. This step removes soil from the fabric and leaves your fabric soft and residue free.
- Step 8 Post Spot Treatment – If any spots are not removed during the upholstery cleaning process, speciality spotting techniques are employed.
- Step 9 Speed Dry – High velocity air movers are set in place to speed dry chairs, sofas and suites.
- Step 10 Fabric Protector - Apply Upholstery protector to repel oily soils and drink spills (optional)
